We are exactly one month from the start of the 2007 Tour de Rizbee!!! This year's Tour is going to be bigger and better than previous years:

To start the trip off right we will be hosting a 1-round kick-off tournament at Emerald Isle on the day we start. The tourney will start early (shotgun start at 7:30am) so we can hit the road and head off to play three more courses that day! Check out the flyer here. Cost is $20 to cover greens fees, a TdR logo disc, raffle prizes and a donation to EDGE (http://www.edgediscgolf.org/). We welcome your participation - if you would like to help out as a sponsor, please PM me.

Details will be forthcoming on a Finish Line Tourney that is currently in the early planning stages. Very similar to the kick-off, except that you can watch us collapse as we hit the end of the road!!

Did the road trip thing again today, playing the La Mirada Monthly and also Whittier Narrows, so as per usual I have stuff to take care of Sunday morning. Hopefully I can get out there early enough.

I will be there all day, but I won't have discs. Rizbee will be there around two though, and he will have discs. So just find me then we'll hook it up.

We have a dozen players signed up so far - not nearly enough!!!

Once again, Stone Brewing has stepped forward as a supporter of Team Rizbee and disc golf. We will have cases of Stone Beer as raffle prizes on Sunday at the Tour de Rizbee Kick-off!!!!!

Rizbee, I didn't get my app off in the mail, so I will be there early to sign up. I'm almost positive that D will come as well. I'm trying to inform anyone I can to show up. Way to go with Stone Brewing. I don't drink when I play disc golf, but when I do drink Stone is one of my favorites. Also many disc golfers seem to drink Stone so it is good to hear they support disc golf.

We had to stop at McP because of lightning. Waiting it out right now at the library, hope to get some more play in today.

The trip has been great so far - we're not too sore or sunburned yet!!

We lost a few hours of playing time to a lightning storm in Flagstaff - we had to finish McPherson in the dark using glow and lighted plastic. Sleeping in Gallup, NM. Tomorrow: western Colorado!

Hey folks, Just talked to Team Rizbee and they wanted me to get the word out about the finish line fundraiser at Sun Valley.

It will be like the kick-off tournament where you can buy Mulligans for a $1 or 6 for %5.

They say 4pm, but knowing how slow Rizbee is and how he loves to chat and waste time.. I say more like 5 pm start.
Entry fee will be 10 bucks benefiting EDGE.

Gosh, I was going to play Hunnington tomarrow, but if Gomez is offering a bonus for anyone who beats me, I will have to show up and shoot 10 or 12 over so he has to pay out big time. The bonus should at least be a disc out of Gomez's personal collection or mabye even his bag.

Our ETA at Pine Valley will be 10:30a - got in bed late.

We played 7 courses in AZ yesterday - 3 1/2 in the dark.

Very tired, but glad to be getting home!

Parnell, Gomez, D and I are going to play Hunnington at 10. We are hopeful that if you guys don't get to Sun Valley until 5 then we have a good chance to make it back in time for the event.

Last day today. We're beat. 7 courses yesterday. Three courses today as we return to San Diego. Finish line at Sun Valley at 4pm!!!!!! Support EDGE!!!

60 courses, 1,000 holes in 21 days will be reached today. What an amazing experience this has been. Thanks all for the support - it will take a few days/weeks to compile all the stories, pictures, etc., but we will share our wealth.
