I am very sad to report that a long time friend of mine, freestyle partner, and disc golfer Diego Gamboa was killed in a crash Wednesday in San Antonio.

"Diego is going to be cremated. However, their is a memorial service tomorrow at 4:00 at Incarnate Word college (broadway & Hildebrand). Diego earned his masters degree there and recently had been spending lots of time out there playing frisbee, basketball and lifting weights.

Wow! Very sad news. Diego was one of the guys I looked up to even though he was fairly young back in the 80's at Texas States. He was a very talented Freestyler and had a pretty good golf game also. Sad news indeed.
