My goal is to become a 12x world champion!!! {YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!}

Personally my goal is to one day hit a roller ace :o that's right, I want to hit an ace by throwing a roller.

Anyone else have any quirky or realistic DG goals?

I was with Jeff Homburg in Huntsville, AL in 1983 when he hit an ace with a thumber roller. The disc (50-mold, I believe) hit a root just in front of the basket, popped up in the air and hit the chains. Incredible!

My goal is to play disc golf in each of the fifty U.S. States.

Of course, it wouldn't hurt if I played disc golf *well* in each of those states, but I'd have to backtrack to a few states I've already played in. ;)

I've never seen a roller ace, but I have hit a squirrel with a roller. The poor thing never saw it coming. Hole 5 at Fritz Park in Irving, TX. I cranked a beat-up Stingray off the box and the disc landed dead-center on the back of a squirrel looking for nuts in the fairway! That little squirrel jumped over two feet in the air and then ran up the nearest tree.

Schwebby: I'd love to see you get that major in the sunshine state this year. Lemme know if you want a caddy who's familiar with the course. It'll be tough, though, there are several local cats that want that cup to stay down here in '08.

On the roller ace stuff: I heard a rumor that Mark Ellis aced #2 at Cliff Stevens with a sidearm roller. Can anyone verify? Also at Cliff, I played with John E. McCray once on the old 400ft. #17 (before the roller-blade path went in) and he laid down a nice roller that jumped off a root and kissed chains. He said that was his third close call on that one.

My disc golf goal: start saving my blood bank money now for the '09 KC Worlds and be competitive for the am-masters title!

To hear as many people as possible say "I saw disc golf on TV last night!"

That's why my show is always free to broadcasters. The more, the merrier.

Almost had a roller ace once, on the morning after an ice storm. Rolled #10 Monster (the one Des aced last weekend) up the trunk of a cedar tree, across some lower-than-usual-hanging branches, and then glancing off ice-covered chains. Dang.

Wow I have a lot ahead of me in life so my goals are numerous. I'd love to play with or even meet any of the big nationwide pros (BHMO or pro worlds coming to my town?) I think at least one ace (my first) in the next 30 years is fair. Win at Intermediate, move up to advanced, move up to open and throw a 1000 rated round. Watch, throw, SOMEHOW closely experience the first 1100 rated round. Bring disc golf with me whenever I go, always look to get people into the sport, lobby to install or improve courses in the area.

One particular idea I enjoy is designing a course alone eventually. Finally, if life allows, I want to be one of the best players ever. I practice for hours each week, I'm just afraid of when that free time is taken up by family and work. One great thing about disc golf is even with family and work, I could always find time to play in a local tourney at least once a year.

One received an exemption from the PDGA that person came in second, the 1st place person isn't current with the PDGA, and the other person I don't know. The intermediate Division here in Florida is really tough. The person who took 1st can throw 480 ft, and can drain 30 ft putts.

That is true we have a seriesweb page (http://www.fabflatour.org/) this is a points based system. I have also been told that if you are not in the running for 1st place or the top 5 you have to play where your player rating puts you. I don't really care anymore.
