OK, so I joined the PDGA back in March. I played a tourney (FDR Fools Fest, March 31) and most recently, a tourney in Maine on June 2nd. I don't have a rating yet and I am wondering if there is a limiting factor, ie: # of rounds before rating is calculated, or # of months being a member. I just want to know what my rating is! Any help would be appreciated.

I just did a search under Membership >Player Ratings> Am Men> (Filter by State: RI) Go. And I don't show up in the list. It says listing 3 of 3 current members. I am current, I signed up in March!

Your events were played after the deadline for TDs submitting reports for the April Ratings update. The FDR will be rated for the June Ratings update which we're processing starting next week. Hopefully, TD for the Maine event will get the event report submitted in time for it to be included. But TDs have up to 30 days to submit reports so it's not certain. Good news is that you will have a rating just based on FDR if that's all that's available.

Thanks Chuck, when I saw the results following the tourney, I thought that the TD had submitted them. Guess there is a little bit more that needs to be done on that side of things.

TDs can post the results online during or right after their event and players will see "Unofficial" ratings. Look quickly to see what those are. Then, as soon as the report gets to the PDGA, official results and points are posted. However, the "unofficial" ratings disappear until the Official ratings are processed. We hope our IT people can modify the online program so the unofficial ratings remain online all the way until official ratings get posted.
