Hey SoCal!!

I'll be landing at Orange County next Sat. 4/21. Is there any tournaments, monthly or anything else within a reasonable driving distance?

I've seen a mini listed at El Dorado on Tuesday and will try to make that if I can get out of a conference in time. Anything else going on during the week as well?

Sylmar hosts monthly league on Saturday the 21st and Oak Grove is on Sunday the 22nd.

Quick question, where is the Oak Grove course? Or is that the one in Pasadena? About how long of a drive from Long Beach is that? And do you have an idea of when the Sylmar one starts?

Also, what about the other two monthlies on Sat. Emerald Isle and Riverside? I know Riverside would be a drive but it starts late enough. How about Emerald Isle?

Looks like I can get a full weekend of some competitive DG in without a problem though. :D

All monthlies start around 10:00 unless otherwise noted. Show up by 9:00 to be safe.

Oak Grove is in Pasadena. If you click on any course on the map on that page, it will take you to the PDGA course directory or the course website where you can get directions and information.

I think EI may be the closest from Long Beach. I am not real great with drive times, hopefully someone else can answer those questions for you. I am not sure how organized the Riverside monthly is, you may want to call someone on that before you make the drive.

I don't think Emerald Isle will be holding any more monthlies until the Fall when football season starts. Disc golf monthlies at the ball golf course reduce the number of ball golfers that can play, and they pay much more than we do. :D
