July 7th and 8th is IOS #4 DISContinuum's Midwest National Qualifier @ Rockford, IL. It was one of the largest events in the country with 224 players last year. It is a great venue with both courses on one site. There will be added cash to the event this year upgrading Pro to a B-Tier. It will also be a USDGC (www.usdgc.com) qualifier for the best finishing Illinois player in the MPO division. Rockford will be one of the first qualifiers for 2008 Am Nationals. Check www.amnationals.com (http://www.amnationals.com) for more details. The Waterford Junior Girls are awarding free entries to the United States Women's Disc Golf Championships. They are going to pay the USWDGC entry fees of the best scoring pro and and best scoring amateur on Saturday, and also for the best scoring amateur on Sunday. I'll only have 100 of the Jumbo Discraft/DGA player packs, 50 each day. Basically you can get anything you want with this that is Discraft or DGA, including whatever we have in Discraft cloth merch. And pros can pay $10 extra to buy a player pack if they want.

We would like to thank Discraft and DGA for their generous in-kind sponsorship of the Illinois Open Series. We give that sponsorship back to the players who throw Discraft and DGA through bigger player packs and lower prices if you choose Discraft and DGA for your player pack and payout.

On the Women's Nationals thing, the USWDGC paid entry fees are for the best score on Saturday for a woman who intends to play in a pro division at USWDGC and for the best score on Saturday for a woman who intends to play in an amateur division at USWDGC. We will also pay an entry fee for the best amateur woman score on Sunday for a woman who intends to play in an amateur division at USWDGC.

We would like to thank attorney Dan Flaggman for the part-time work that is paying for the USWDGC thing.

Oh, and on the added cash, that is all going to the Open division. Brett said that, but it is worth repeating. The good Pro Masters may want to weigh their options.

When it is updated for IOS 6 I'll try to remember to post leaders here. They post the whole document on discontinuum.org/forums but you have to be registered and signed in to see it.

These are the leaders in Open.

Trophy-only is only $10 to $20 depending on the division you choose, your membership status and whether you pre-reg or not. Lots of aceable holes anyone can reach. Advanced trophy-only gets the player pack.

Oh, I'm not sequestering any of the 20 brass Throw Discraft Player Packs this time. I did that in Aurora and then had some left over. If you want a 20B TDPP, be sure to ask for one.
