I DID IT! I got out club to hold a Women's only event! I will not be running it, but I am helping out in a huge way and trying to get those sponsors rolling in! If you would like to sponsor our event, please please please help us and let me know...PM me or email me at
[email protected]
I will post entry fees and the rest of the info after I meet with our club president next week for the details! It is already listed on the PDGA tour schedule! The week after Great Lakes Open so maybe some of those Women that are touring will stick around for the event...I'm sure gonna spread the word! Please help me too and spread the word! :D :D :D :D

Great job Erin! Congrats. Wish I could make it up there, but time off work and funds are limited since I'm getting married this year and going to Europe for our honeymoon. Enjoy! I'm sure it'll take a ton of hard work and it'll only get better each and every year! BTW...I love the name!!!

I'll see if I can get the Waterford Junior Girls Club out there. Better yet, I'll see if Diana can get the Waterford Junior Girls Club out there.
Oh, and do you know Emily Dickinson? Can she play Open Women? No matter how she finishes, she always turns down the cash and the trophy... :D

That would be GREAT to see Diana and the Jr Girls there! We're expecting a pretty good turnout! I've got tons of stuff for players packages rolling in and we will be having the guys from the club cooking hot dogs and burgers for us. Lunch is free with ca$h donations if you want to donate for lunch. I will make sure there are a few veggie dogs and burgers as well for vegetarians. Some things for the players packs may be limited so if you register early, the better your package may be :)
As for Emily Dickinson.....I have heard of "her". However unless she is wearing a skirt and a stuffed bra, she won't be allowed to play :)

That weekend there is something going on and there will be over 1000 people there. SO, we are moving it to Grand Woods Park in Lansing. If you have any questions please let me know....same date same everything else!

So is the event at Lansing's Grand Woods park or Grand Ledge's Fitzgerald Park.
The ladies I have been associated with haven't been able to get off my back about which course it is. Please solve this for me and them please! We could not find all the holes at grand ledge while we completed the lansing course. We don't have time to preview the course before the event but details would be nice.
thanks

Time is getting close! Just a reminder that the Disc Girls Gone Wild B Tier event is June 16th!!!! Less than 2 weeks away now. There is a minimum of $250 added to the Pro Women purse. There are some pretty sweet players packs also. All Ams will get 2 discs in their players packs, Pro's will get just the one with the tournament stamp on them and a bunch of other stuff. You can get a pre-register form online at http://ccrdiscgolf.org/Disc_Girls_Gone_Wild.htm or you can sign up the day of the tournament!
REMEMBER: This tournament is now at Grand Woods Park, not Fitzgerald.

Can you please tell me if there is an AM Master divison and how much it cost? I have three am masters wanting to come.
Thanks

Jun 11 2007, 12:44 PM
Yes there is an Am Masters division. I appologize for not having it on the flyer...I'm not sure why he didn't put that on the registration form. I'm going to assume it is the same price as Advanced women which is $35. I called Bob and left him a voicemail to call me back to confirm. If it is different...I will definately update you on that! THanks:)

Yes Am Masters is $35. I have a couple girls from my women's league who may also be playing Am Masters. They aren't sure if they want to play rec or Am Masters yet.
I still have stuff coming in for players packs...they are really going to be great! I'm totally excited about the tournament this weekend! Lots of goodies to give away! :D

Absolutely! Thank you for the donation! I will make sure it goes to girls that weren't there last year. I will try to remember to announce the Femillz Open as well. Could you tell one of your girls to remind me to announce it. I most likey won't forget, but it could happen:) Thanks again! And I'll see you at the Femillz Open! This is so exciting having some women's events in Michigan. We should get a mini series of women's events going! :) :)

I will also be sending flyers 50 of them so if you can hand them out i would appreciate it.
I absolutely love the idea of a women's championship series, but we need to get more events. We could have a WMDGO or WDGO, i would back that all the way, I think the club would be fine with it to.
