If you socal players are looking for some fun one day events coming up,there are some really fun ones in the central valley. I have played the annual Bakersfield event 3 times and that course is real fun. Visalia will have 2-18 hole permanent courses to play at their event. There are some real shooters up there. These are fun inexpensive unsanctioned events. This means all you am baggers can cash in open and still stay am. Hope to see more of you there this year. Good luck! The closest events are Dec.2-Taft,Diane at 661-763-4246,Jan.6-Visalia,Chuck at 559-635-0267,Jan.20-Fresno,tim at 559-297-7475,Feb6-Hanford,Kevin at 559-584-1210,andMarch3-Bakersfield,Rocky at 661-396-7901. Sometimes these event overlap with SOCAL events and I can't make it up to the central valley, but the ones I have been able to make have been alot of fun. I know a guy who went to Bakersfield one year, paid $25 for adv. am. and won a basket! Thats a good payout!

These are pretty fun courses to play - not too long, not absolute pitch-n-putt. We have played them all over the last two TdR's. I'll try to get up there for at least one event!!

Road Trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The new 18 in Visalia is REAL long! It willbe installed before the end of the month. I am a huge fan of the "tournament" course in Bakersfield. It has alot of everything! Elevation, open crusher holes, tunnel shots, you name it. Do not mistake the regular fun little courses they have with the HART PARK COURSE. Even fresno has some pretty big holes and elevation. They also have CHRIS LANE. That guy is pretty good. It is just another great bunch of people who love the game. Hope to see more socal family at these events this year. By the way, I have been getting more of the "C.V." shooters to come down to socal events too. Just tryin' to spread the love!
