Wow!
What a fantastic weekend for disc golf at the Snow Farm!!!
In the Big Boy division, Clint Hilligeist ran away with it from the starting gun to the finish line.
8 Pro Masters
16 Advanced Masters
6 or 7 Grand Masters
and a smattering of other divisions.
It was a truly special weekend because of the Father Dave Tayloe commemorization ceremony last night as the last of some of Father Dave's ashes were placed in #19's basket. (As Greg Marshall termed it "The Move Over Jim and Make Room For One More Tournament.") Many offerings of beer and other things were made in fond remberance of Dave Tayloe and Jim Mozola were made throughout the weekend.
Good band played on the deck until the wee hours of the morning. Surprisingly enough, I didn't hear of any reports of missed tee times this morning! :D
I got to witness the 2nd of two, back-to-back aces on #13 this morning! Danny Berry and Joe Schneider on the same card hit them in back-to-back throws.
I got to play with some really awesome people this weekend - Ron, John, Kevin, Dan, Danny, Jimbo and of course, Ug! Guys, thanks for a great time this weekend!
I finally scored a 4 on #10 today! In seven years of playing golf at the Snow Farm, I've never scored better than a 5 on it, and usually a 6!
