Hey discers I am new to town and need some formal introduction to the disc golf that lies around H-town. I am from the Stillwater Oklahoma area (due to being a student at Oklahoma State University) I recently played AM Worlds in Tulsa and I played advanced and ended up tied for 145. So I am getting better and this was only my first Worlds and I just wanted to finsh top half (goal accomplished :D) I love to PARTY and throw some plastic so if anyone is interested shoot me a PM and we can switch #s and go play. OK here is the real question...

WHAT COURSE SHOULD I PLAY??????

Oak Meadows on the Northwest side of town. Near the intersection of 290 and Fry Road. It is the only "free" course in town with concrete tee pads!!! Very good and challenging course.

Check out the HFDS message board for lots more details and information. Many, many locals read and post out there, so that is where you stand the best chance of hooking up with some locals and to get advice and directions.

Try the link at: HFDS Discussion board. (http://www.hfds.org/html/hfds_message_board.html)

Please make sure that you use a valid e-mail address when you register there as it will send you a link in a return e-mail to get your posting account started. :D

Only one problem, you will have to meet Chris somewhere other than Houston. He & MaceMan don't seem to like it in our neck of the woods. LOL

Try the TX7/10 Final at Live Oak in two weeks.

The official grand opening of Bridgeland (Oak Meadow) will still be going on (nothing organized at the course though). Waterloo Charity is in Austin, but the next local event is a LSS at Moffitt on Saturday the 28th.
