Thanks for posting info about this here.

There is also a thread under Tournaments on this, called Games of Texas (or something like that). Here is the link to that thread:

The South Austin Bag Tag crew is going to show up in force for this....remember, the bag tag mini will be incorporated into this event. Turnout should be pretty strong.

Another really cool thing happening this Saturday July 22nd is disc golf portion of the AT&T TAAF Games of Texas. This was originally scheduled for Sunday, but was recently moved to Saturday. It is an amateur only event being held at Cat Hollow. Vinnie Miller is running it, so you know it will be good.

$20 entry fee for all am divisions; 2 rounds; medals to the top 3 places in each division. No payout, but Vinnie says there will be plenty of CTP prizes.

It should be lots of fun, and a good turnout will encourage the organizers to keep disc golf as one of the eighteen sports being played. The games will be held next year at Cat Hollow too, so lets keep disc golf a part of the event.

Link to the disc golf part of the web site http://www.taaf.com/gamesoftexas/Disc%20Golf.htm

Link to the registration form (also can be accessed through the above site) http://www.taaf.com/gamesoftexas/disc%20golf%20registration.html

You can register Saturday morning in person between 8:30 9:30 am. Tee-off is at 10:00 am.

If you aren't going to be at the Zilker work day, then you should be out playing this. :D
