Hey Guys,

As some of you may have heard me say HB Clark contacted our parks dept here in Springfield a few months ago and the last time I inquired about his progress this is what he had....

Spring field: when I last talked to them, they felt like it would fly in the budget, but I have not gotten a return call in my last few attempts, but as a vendor that is not unusual. They had told me it should be in the budget (thanks in a lot to your contacts early this year). They were looking for me to do the design and them to build. A lot of the course would be in the open areas, so the construction will go fast (with some wood clearing for my strategic basket placements, and a few totally wooded holes behind the back parking lot. Knowing that you live right there, if you can the parks (director is Leslie Dean) and city manager or mayor that would help.

So I figured if my contact made a small difference I would give you guys an opportunity to let the parks director ( Mr. Leslie Dean ) know that you guys would come up and play our course and possibly outline some benefits that you have noticed since getting your course. The email address is

Parks@Springfield-tn.org

Thanks guys and see you soon

Chris

Hey Chris, Im assuming that you are a lefty and play at the Random Doubles at Sanders Ferry Park on Mondays. I will shoot the parks an email and give them the info about wanting to play there. I had the chance to play with HB last Wed. and talked to him about Sanders Ferry, Gallatin, Goodlettsville, and several other courses that he has in the works. You have to remember that most local, state, and federal budgets begin their fiscal year in July.
