Discraft put up a sweet article on wind. I only skimmed thru, it seems to go from basics to very in depth, including how a building or object blocks the wind and how to take advantage! SWEET!

That article by Ron (or one similar to it) is in the recent June edition of Disc Golf Magazine. It looked great -- can't wait to read it in more detail...

Very nice. I like the chart. I've played in wind and definitely been tricked a few times. I like the little compass, and the section about obstacles like a creek or openings in the trees. Being observant and knowing what the wind "should" do to your disc is definitely key. Great article.

the article is spot on, and having had the opportunity to play with Ronverse several times, there is no one I would give more credit to on the subject...

Great Article! Another in a long series of little steps forward as the sport becomes more and more "professional".

Speaking of professional, when are the movers and shakers up in Michigan going to produce a slick, color brochure-mag for course proposals like Big Yellow has? That one sure blows away the homemade Kinko's version we've all used in the past . . . but I digress.

We're hoping for another windy Players Cup this November and to see Ron in contention for the big money again!
