Don't forget Wilmington doubles Tuesday nights 6 sharp. Since J-Ville's ace pool got cleaned out last week, come on down and take your shot at Inland Greens. We alternate every week between the Castle and Inland. This week (6/6) we'll be at Inland.

BRING IT OFDA!!!!!

Just wondering if there will be a silent auction this year for the Robert Wynne memorial. It was a bigtime effort last year when so much was collected, I would like to see that duplicated.

Can't wait to see everyone this weekend for such a good cause!

things have been real last minute this year dubbs so an auction wasnt really organized or planned in time. MTL seriously hooked it up last year & my time is crazy right now so it looks like just an event going down. We'll make it worth while & mos def have some fun.

last year at this time I was working part time and had time to get stuff gathered together. Now I just didn't have time to do all of this. Also, it was my understanding that the tournament would be annual, but the big auction and stuff was a one time deal.

I was happy to do it Robert's memory.

Cool story. I made it a goal of mine to individually thank every single person who donated an item. Well, as some of you remeber, Valerie Jenkins from Ohio and Carrie Burlogger from Cali both donated things. The first chance I got to see them was at Hotlanta before worlds and I went up to them both and got to tell the story of the auction and all that we did. It was an emotional moment for me b/c I felt I had finally finished my auction. Valerie was very happy to hear that her stain glass window was given to Mrs. Wynne.

We're also gonna have a monthly on Saturday. If anyone is interested in playing and wants a place to stay, Bell's Fork can sleep a few. Call Jeb or I if need be. If not I hope to see you guys on Sunday.

November 4-5. One of the reasons for the delay in sanctioning, is because I was considering not sanctioning this event. I sent in my sanctioning aggreement the day befor yesterday. I am just waiting to hear from the PDGA now, before I start a thread. Thanks for inquiry.

Onslow Flying Disc Association is now part of the PDGA Affiliate Club program. We have our own discussion board section. So this one should no longer be necessary. For any and all things OFDA go here. (http://www.pdga.com/msgboard/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=Club041).

I'm sorry that this is a little off from the subject but I am trying to reach as many NC players as I can.

If you havent already cast your PDGA ballot I am now running for NC State Coordinator.

I just found out that since Hall of Famer Alan Beaver is planning on moving to Chapin SC he has decided not to run for State Coordinator this year.

I had not planned to run unless I was sure that Alan was moving.

Thanks!!!

Sorry for the thread hijack....

I am sorry for the last minute notice but due to circumstances beyond our control:

THE YADKIN OPEN WILL NOT BE A PART OF THE NC POINTS SERIES PLAYOFFS

IT IS BEING REPLACED WITH THE DOWN EAST PLAYERS CUP IN GREENVILLE NC.

If you are in the hunt for the trophy for your division please make arrangements to be in Greenville NC for one of the 3 final NC Points Series events.

Please feel free to contact me if you should have any questions.
