I think the scores were turned in before the ratings deadline, but I'm not sure. I'll try to find out from Patty.

It's not the scores, it's the actual TD report that needs turned in...

yeah what he said!! apparently the report needed to be in by june 7 to make the latest update..

When you drive 7 hrs is what i'm getting at. You dont spread the pay out between 20 people. Yall can stick up for yalls club in all. Its all good. The tournment is awesome and so are all the people. I was very upset with the people and several other people were too. Also you dont finsh the awards cermony till 900p.m. whats up with that. COTO 2005 was so much better.

I'm not sure where you're getting your memories from but the COTO 2005 awards ceremony ended much later than this year. In 2005, the players waited for the staff to pack up and get to Bongo's at close to 8:00. I don't think awards were done before 9:00.

This year I was home before 8:30 after dropping off a truckload of the club's supplies at the storage room first.

At least whine about the right topic. Stick to the payout like everyone else.

I agree with you about the payout,if I had driven 7 hrs then I would be upset as well.If there is a COTO 2007 it will probably have a small turnout because everyone that I have talked to are not coming back; look at Wacos payout and any other B-tier and you will see that something went wrong for payout in every division.However,COTO is always a fun tourney in a city with a lot of other things to do besides golf and most of the people here are friendly.A majority of the people that play COTO play it because of the charity's involved same with the Waterloo Disc Golf Classic.If your playing tournaments for plastic payout then you are playing for the wrong reason anyhow because it never adds up after you factor in gas,meals,etc...

And at least COTO was very upfront about all the fees. You can follow the math cleanly (whether you agree or not).

COTO will fill next year. It's an Austin tradition, and as long as the city has disc golfers, COTO will not hurt for players.

This is misleading and can be construed that something was amiss. My understanding for the pro divisions at least is that some money went to the club and some to the charity. I don't remember about lunch. This was all up front from what I've read.

Yes, I heard some pros #$*&$! about it. However, I doubt anyone from the charity #$*&$! about it. I also wonder if people tie together what the club does and where the money goes; if they do, they will see the connection and they won't #$*&$! about it either.

So, all in all, I'm not sure that "something went wrong for payout in every division." The payout might not match people's expectations, but that is far from being "wrong."

The payout was UP FRONT.
Does Austin want to be know as a place for nothing but charity events. We don't have many events in the Austin city limits.......one of them should be like Texas (BIG!)
Seems to me: CAPITAL of TEXAS should have a tournament that is well sponsored and attracts golfers for all over the state because the event is well ran and has a hugh payout. A Charity event is good for the local players. I don't see the touring players traveling to a charity event.

You don't need points to get into Worlds.
And why would you want someone to know how much money you need to claim with IRS?
Outlaws has always questioned being a sancationed event.
Not much worth in sancationing.......Outlaws has BIG money and with or without sancationing will always have the best players in Texas.

Just out of curiosity, did someone's dog eat the TD report or something? Now that it's been nearly 3 months and two points/standings updates have slipped by, just thought I'd ask.
