What is it, and where can I buy one?

Some guys claim hyzer flips of over 550'. So i think they are roads. Don't buy one, just adopt a section of highway and make it beautiful. Plus, everyone will see your name on a giant green sign.

Who makes it, is it stable? I bet its flippy if it has the word flip in it. I just want to be able to throw hole 2 at my course. They say you need to throw a hyzerflip, and I don't have one, let alone the first run.

I believe to "throw a hyzerflip" means to brandish your middle finger at a perceived enemy with the nail pointing not quite straight up, but at a jaunty angle towards the midline of your body.
:p

Yeah, but is it stable or overstable?

If I get to the point that I'm throwing a hyzerflip, I'm pretty unstable.

I believe the Hyzerflip was a disc manufactured by a spin-off of Lightning Discs - Thunder Throwin' Things (also known as "TT").

Similar to the usual Lightning line of discs, they were named after their flight path, along with a number. You could get the Hyzerflip #1 (which turned a little if you threw it hard), the Hyzerflip #2 (which weenie arms and old guys could get to flip) or Hyzerflip #3 (which flipped so much it actually corkscrewed, kinda like throwing a paper plate).

Another innovation from TT was "anti-glow" plastic. Unlike glow plastic, which makes your disc glow in the dark, anti-glow plastic actually reduced the amount of light in the vicinity of your disc. Many light-sensitive players found this to be a boon, especially those from sunny states.

These discs show up from time to time on ebay - keep your eyes peeled!

wasn't TT the same company that sold a special kind of bottled water that wasn't as wet as normal water for those people who suffer from the opposite of cotton mouth? it is hard to believe a company that had such novel merchandise went out of business /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Are you saying that a spin-off of lightning was sold in a bottle? It would probably make my hyzer flip.

Guess that's better than Levitra...with that, when your disc was thrown in the air, it could potentially not come down for 4 hours!!!

If your 'disc' stays 'up' that long...you're supposed to alert your doctor.

Who needs a hyzerflip? Even if it did stay up for 4 hours, it's still not close to my Devilhawk ... which, by the way, hasn't been seen for weeks. Anyone seen a Devilhawk fly over lately? I think it may be in orbit. ;)

Viagra Falls? Is that the term for when the drug wears off? "sorry honey, but we've arrived at Viagra Falls."

If you haven't heard, Phizer is launching a new line of golf discs patterned after popular pharmecuticals products:

The Viagra - a driver intended for use by older players who have difficulty holding a hard, straight line, and are looking for a disc with good penetration into the wind. It comes only in blue plastic.

The Levitra is the first disc with a glide rating of 10 - it is designed to stay up in the air for a long, long time.

The Prozac - designed for use by players who consistently slam into trees on heavily-wooded courses. The disc will still slam into trees, but it won't really care and won't feel depressed when it happens.

The Claratin - Is completely unaffected by pollen-carrying trees and bushes or the nasty, dusty ground. When used on tight courses you always have a "Claratin clear" approach to the basket.

That's almost a complete disc line, now all we need is a putter!
