Live Oak was represented at the Texas State Am Doubles over the weekend. Dave and I took first place after a long tough uphill battle against some super old men. Not that they were super old, but they were super and just happen to be old. Had a great time with these guys and it was nice to play against someone closer to my age. Of course Dave had to carry me all weekend and I am sure he will have plenty to say about that. His favorite phrase over the weekend after he finished his drive was, "Hope you can stretch a little". He didn't mention anything about the briars I would have to get through first to get to his shot. Needless to say, I got a few tattoos. The Texas State Am Doubles Grandmaster Champions are in the Live Oak house this year.
