Can't wait for our first international event..Seems like they know what they are doing since its been going on since 1979!
The event is now very close to filled. Reserved spots might open up and there are wildcard spots.....
about 85 in the Open division! :D

Hi,
dont now why it is not on the schedule.
I have been talking to Jonas L�f who is involved, he doesn�t know why it is not on the list :confused:, but it is a PDGA-event.
It is also qualifying for the USDGC and part of the Eurotour.

we will be staying at the hostel/hotel listed on the tourney website..I this walking distance from the course, or is a taxi the best choice.

Which one? ( There were several listed on the SDGO site (http://www.discgolfpark.com/sdgo/index_en.htm) ) The one closest to J�rva is the Welcome Hotel Barkaby from which you could walk, but it would take you at least 30 minutes... So I would recommend car transport in some form. Maybe you could catch rides with local players? The forum at www.area46.se (http://www.area46.se) is a good place to ask, the forum is in swedish, but most Swedes understands English well... Weather in Stockholm in early June might be a bit unpredictable, you could probably expect anything from 55 and rain to 75 and sunny. Anyway: Welcome to one of the best organized tournaments in the world! We'll probably meet there, even though I'm playing the Master division ;)

We are staying at the Solna Hotel/Vanderheim......I think we can take a subway to the course and then walk the rest....Can someone help us out with a ride or plan?

the Stockholm open is actually our first stop in Europe, after which we will spend two months traveling. We hve been told by many people that the course is very challenging and scenic. Cant wait to play.
