What a great fun event the Memorial in Scottsdale, AZ and Fountain Hills was! There were:

- 14 Open Women
- 12 Pro Masters
- 12 Advanced Amateur
- 8 Intermediate Women

Local woman player Bobbie Polk asked Dan G. if next year he could add an Advanced Amateur Masters division and he said yes. I also heard Bobbie mention having some extra port-a-johns on the Fountain Hills Course to Dan and he apologized. He said he had tried to get at least one a few days before and none were available because of other events going on. He said he'd reserve some earlier next year for the Fountain.

Dan G. and his wife Sue, and the Arizona Disc Golf Club volunteers were super nice and welcoming to the women players throughout the entire tournament! And what a beautiful venue it was - the Fountain is just a magical place - it is so pretty. I'm really glad I went and was able to get out of the cold weather here in Iowa!

That was definatly awesome with the amount of women golfers at Arizona!! I loved waking up and seeing the groups of women roarin thru the holes, and driving past most of the guys!!! This is exactly what we need, Big female turn outs at huge tournaments like this!! Mark the Memorial on your calendars for next year this ones a MUST!! :D

My last Memorial there was 1999 but after going back again this year, I think I'll make this my annual gig!! Had a blast! And I am determined to score better than an 8 on Hole 12 at Vista! My goal was a 6 and I still haven't hit it. Next year though! It's also nice to put new names and faces together! CYA all next year!! :D:D:D
