We just installed an 18 hole championship course par 70 and a 9 hole recreational course par 34 ( for recs) 30 minutes south of Jefferson Barracks in Festus, Mo.
There is a big creek and a 3 acre lake that has water in play on 9 of the 18 holes on the championship course.

The 18 hole is in West city park and the 9 hole is in Jokerst park.
The 9 hole is a very good begineer park and there is a lot of elevation to keep it challenging for a more experienced golfers!
Please call the shop 314 487 5204 or the city of festus 636 937 6646 for directions

We had our 1st real shot at the par 70 course Yesterday.
I think there were 7 of us
It as about 25 degrees but only about a 10 mile an hour wind.
We played long tees to short pins with the best score being shot by Justin and I at 59, I had a chance to go -12 on the last hole, but Justin had lost his turnove putter on the ice of the pond and there was al kinds of commotion.
I left by 3rd shot short and my birdie putt on the par5 18th hit front rim,EXCUSES EXCUSES :(
The scores ranged from 59-70.
All in all the course is going to shape up to be AWESOME and the socres wont be nowhere that low to the long pins.
There are a lot of straight drives and Hyzer Layups required which makes it a fun par 70 for even recreational players.

I'm guessing they will put in concrete tees before the year is over.

Will this be one of the courses played in the upcoming St. Louis Open? If not, will their be any courses with high SSA's?

Unfortunaltely Festus, Quail ridge, St Charles Baptist Church, Collinsville and Centralia ( all 18 hole courses) will not be used, even though they are well worth the trip to St Louis to play!
Jeferson Barracks, Sioux Passage, Creve Coeur and Endicott.
These are all great disc golf courses and will each have concrete tees.
