Went to Settler's and did about a 20 minute walk around for a warm-up....didn't work. Probably would have stayed if there had been a few people there by 9:25 but the cold got the best of me. See Ya'll Wed. Gonna bring some stuff for Vinnie for raffle or payout for his tournaments.

Went back about 1:30 and played the winter course. Actually worked up a sweat with all the stuff I had on. It was nice in the afternoon.

10:00 at the ROCK due to more rain coming and the only way to rivery hole 1 is down that dirt road which will be mud. Round rock will have nice sweet GREENS to play as well. we will use rain tees. :D

Any time you draw Paul you know you are going to have a good round at the rock.
Today was of course one of those days.
It was a great day.

Marching into the head wind was rough.
Man o Man was it hot too.

Some how Jimmy seemed uneffected and CW was of course playing some good golf too.
I felt like I was like throwing a paper plate today.
Till we got out of the wind on 9.
Things started looking up right away once we got out of the wind.
A close run on 9 by me and one by Jimmy too.
Just missed the Birdie on B hole too. Rolled it too far.

What a great round we had several close calls on 9 15 and B.


Good Karma once again brought to the course by the Anniversary of Paul and Janet.
So the course gave up a special gift to the Happy Man with the great Karma
A rare ace with a great over the tree into the basket corkscrew tomahawk with a tail wind smash on hole 11 that stuck and stayed.
Instantly everyone new from the yell that went up and Paul threw his arms in the air.

Crab and beer was great at the Owl shack.

yes truely a shot I will never forget. as soon as he threw it appeared it was going to get blown way past the basket so I say whoops that is too far past it and as I said past it the disc appeared to hit a brick wall in mid air and fall straight in the hole it was amazing. so if you notice the pattern for Round Rock mini's are:
1st Sunday Lago Vista has its own building ace pot and it is at $200 with a $4 back-up.
2nd and 4th Sunday Round Rock has its own building ace pot and I will see if I can find out what it is at from eddie and laura.
3rd Sunday Wilco. no building ace pot so we CTP the ace at the end of the round if no one hits an ace during the round.

Ed Miller has all Sunday ace pot details & I have $24 of it in the bank from a long time ago, the rest (that was in the account prior) was paid to Paul B when he hit last. No one is running it currently other than whomever shows up (sometime Jiggy is there, but not recently). I'm happy to track the Sunday ace money with Wednesday stuff, but I'd need the actual money from Jiggy. Edman & I have family in town this weekend, so I doubt we will be handling this Sunday. We're happy to do it when we're there, but I'm not willing to commit us on the regular - tounaments are a comin'. It's a $10 buy in, $3 ace, $2 ctp, & $5 payout. NO RR Club money is collected (or has been for some time)on Sundays.

LLLOOONNNGGG course, also some tight holes, and you gotta to get the birdie's. Edman and I finished second in doubles with a -2 Matt and Robert shot a -6. a total for 8 teams, and we played singles in the moening at some other course.

the other course was 5th street. who won singles and did you not like the 5th street course?? cant wait to play the new lions course.
