Look for tee pads by the 2006 St Louis Open. We'll unveil the new design for our Club Championships this October 15-16. If you're playing any of our events this year, get here.

Scott whats the word from Mike mills?
We can easilty make another 9 without asking for anymore land. I thought what we did on sunday was an improvement to the course, especially with the down hill and uphill shots by the sledding hill. There is also the woods behind 10 for 2 holes if we cannot use the land by the pavillion.
I would be strongly against shortening up either of the par 4's towards the end of the course and would help with any of the clearing out needed in the woods.

I like your placements of tee signs in the Missouri area courses. The courses I played (oakland, JB) had the tee boxes to the side of the tee and at the middle of the tee-box, so there is no chance of hitting it, or even having the thought of hitting the tee-sign

Scott,
We played from 11 to 15 and then 12-14, the flow was MUCh Better and all of us playng agreed the change should be made.
It eliminates waking by 14 and onl;ly adds the old walk from 14 - 15.

BTW,
Looked at 9 from about 80 behind the tee on the first lower tier and it will be AWESOME, but most likely a need for those shorter pins.
We clerad out the pin on 12 middle right,, we should get that pin in so it can get it a litttle more clened uot by the locals. we should consider4 pins for that hole, we can get a pin closer to the creek. It really cool down in there.
We also worked on 10's long which may be the best hole in the city in that placement, with the tall grass as OB.

18 long is now my favorite hole outside any in Festus or centrailia :D
I had a big drive, throw out of bounds on the right then behind the hole for a 7, steve made a 6 with no penalty strokes. GREAT HOLE and no prk needined to be done, LAY OF THE LAND BABEEEEY

I originally had them like that. I changed them to lessen the uphill walks. I may change them back but I'm so indecisive who knows. Regardless its the top dog in town even without pads. We need a metrolink stop up there.

Tee project is coming right on schedule. We're giving away a basket to someone who helps out on pour day. Don't know how yet, bring wheelbarrows, shovels and rakes! April 15th!

I am setting it up in the A's for league Monday night. After that I will re-set it on Tuesdays to the Tourney pins and switch to league pins on Sunday night or Monday early. I may need some help doing it some weeks, lets get Waidmann healthy. I am going to flyer up Hazelwood tomorrow night and recruit for Saturday. Stoney said he's in for League. Hopefully his entourage follows suit.

Francis' buddies are going out to remove forms and backfill the tees. I'd like to get that last pad done tomorrow morning. I have to work at Webbs tomorrow afternoon.

Tee signs sans 9 are in. Francis backfilled 8 for us. I'm heading to Memphis this weekend, theres a project list on the RCF Site. I'll put it here also in case the site goes down again.
Hole 1 - trim overhanging branches SLIGHTLY in front of tee. move signpost.

Hole 3 - Rock-wall and backfill.

Hole 5 - Green needs to be trimmed of underbrush. Go easy on this. Its pretty clean.

Hole 7 - Rock-wall and backfill.

Hole 8 - Cut and remove logs near green. move Signpost.

Hole 9 - Pour Pad and clean up fairway. Add signpost

Hole 13 - Rock-wall and backfill.

Hole 14 - Clean up green and finish path to 15's tee.

* Some tees still need forms cut off and backfilled slightly.
