It's 1:00am Iceland time (GMT) and I just finished playing a round of midnight disc golf on an established course in Iceland!
Has anyone ever played this course in the Gufunes recreation center?
There must be locals that play this course, but I didn't see any. Maybe that's b/c it was 12:00, but the Snoop Dawg (seriously) concert was just getting out so I thought maybe. Sure would be fun to meet the people that created this course outside Reykjavik. I even brought some plastic to share.
How nice is midnight sun??? Golf whenever you want! I should post some pictures.

Hey Adam! Lucky you! Isn't it awesome to not have to worry about when it gets dark. I would love to see some pics. Post them!

I was in Holland two weeks ago on my honeymoon - it was indeed quite weird that it was still light out at 11:15 PM. Too bad there are no permanent courses there, I would have liked to play a round!

Reviewed the Icelandic disc golf scene on Disc Golf Live a few episodes ago. The main force there is a fellow named Haurkur Arnason. The head indoors for the months when its too dark (and probably too cold) to play.
No touneys yet, but some of the icelanders have attended tourneys in Europe.
I knew Lung was cheap, but he even went Dutch on his own honeymoon.

<GROAN> Keep your day job, you are definitely not ready to be a stand-up comedian!
What's with your signature file, it sort of makes it look like you are bragging about yourself, in flaming colors. Lose it.

Lose it.
I'd rather see you get lost, har-dee-har-har.
Hmmm. Boy that was clever.
I hope your new wife doesn't rely on you for jokes.

I would just like to add that the course in Rotterdam is a great course and host of this years Dutch Open, some great holes and some sneaky OB's and the T-Pads and signage are top notch. Considering that this course is in a popular public park the public are very aware of our sport which bodes well for the future of Disc Golf in Holland and makes playing the course so much easier when people know what you are doing. If you ever get the chance to visit i would recommend Rotterdam's course and get in contact with Arthur, but watch out he's a top notch player and a great ambassador of our sport in Europe.
