Hello all,
I thought I would post this info on both a new thread and the Art of Dyeing... thread as well.
Due to the fact that the name Discology has been taken, it took a bit of time to change everything around but I've finally settled on Agitprop. I've also just launched my new website that will be the face of Agitprop. It explains what I intend for the company and where I want it to go as well as showing off some of my favorite dyes. The site is still somewhat under construction but I wanted people to take a look at it and see what they think. Constructive criticism is very much welcome.

Thanks to XA4 Designs for doing this site and to everyone that has been supportive in helping me get this up and running. I will try to keep this thread up and running to show off some of my favorite dyes as they are finished.

Nice work. I especially like the one with the eye. I like your art style....dark.

That Beatles set is really sweet. How much would a set like that cost?

I just got a disc custom dyed by this guy here. It turned out better than I expected. It looks incredible. I'll post a pic once I find lighting/exposure settings that give this dye job justice. Was definately a great guy to work with, and somone I hope to have do some dyes for me in the future.

This is artwork done by my friend, about 5 years ago. I had this put on a disc for him. The colors aren't quite bright enough(in the photo). When you look at the disc in person, the colors look almost neon.

Sweet dyes, I like the Tool eye, the clock work orange, Sin City and the KMFDM disc. They all look good. Might want to adjust the way the frames are setup on the site. A little tweak should do, but I think your up and going. The dyes rock.

The Jimi Hendrix disc in the above photo...it's currently in my bag.

Fly on my sweet angel.
Fly on through the sky
Fly on my sweet angel
Tomorrow you will be by the side (of the pin)

Night Bird Flying through the night,
night bird making a midnight flight,
well it's flying down to me but in the chains I'm gonna set it free.

Are all of these [well known] images public domain?

I like the dye jobs, but some of these images look very familiar and might be copyrighted.

They aren't reproductions of anything, copyrighted, public domain, or otherwise.

Yeah I'm sure Warner Brothers Records is going to sue for the 12 cents of royalties they would get from the Hendrix image on one hand made frisbee.

Good thinking

Wanted to raise this thread from the dead to let people know that I've had a massive updating on my website. Between being busy, moving to a new place and miscommunications with the guy doing the web site, it's been lagging in the updates department. So there's a huge overhaul of discs I've done in the past couple months. I'm also planning on having a dyeing tutorial (complete with pictures!) up by next year. Check out some of the dyes I've been doing!
I also wanted to let people know that I'm churning out a lot of discs for the holiday season. So check back frequently to see the new discs that are posted to Agitprop (http://agitpropdiscs.com/agitation.htm).
