I was at my local course (Landis Park in Vineland, NJ... middle of a ghetto town, but it's closer than the other courses in NJ) and had a friend who joined me record my throw with my digi camera..
I broke it down as best as i could and would like any suggestions on my throw..

Unfortunately that throw ended up turning over and i can tell why... I will try to get a link for some video of a hole or 2 at the March Madness at Rutgers Yesterday once i can convert my girlfriends tape to digital.

I'm no expert, but the thing that really stands out to me is the orientation of your plant foot (10th picture). I find that if I don't get my plant foot facing at least 90 degrees away from the target that my hips don't open up all the way, I'm a bit off balence and I have to overcompensate with my torso and end up yanking it and turning the disc over.

We'll see what the experts say, though.

Looks like you are leading with your elbow. Your footwork looks pretty good though it is hard to tell from those shots. Notice in the first reachback picture the orientation of your wrist. Your wrist is a little cocked, moving the disc from flat to nose up a little. That changes on your pullthrough though. Also, you are releasing pretty low across your body, looks like you could release a bit more centered infront of you and higher across your chest. Again, tough to tell from one shot...

thx for the suggestions so far guys.
I definately noticed that my plant foot is Turned Too much.. i used to not turn it enough and now i guess i turn it too much, thus not letting my hips turn. I will try and work on that hopefully tomorrow, but it's supposed to rain.

The reason i throw lower in my body is because i always used to muscle the disc.. I'm trying to get in the habit of throwing as relaxed as possible so right now relaxed is throwing a little on the lower side(i usually throw above my nipples).. With some more consistency which im getting by throwing much slower and relaxed i'll be able to slowly bring my arm back up further.

I went out today right before work just to get a quick round or 2 in.
I just warmed up throwing as lightly as possible(relaxed and a slower steady run up) and parked almost all my drives today.
I was driving with my putters extremely well today and even had 3 ace runs in 2 rounds.
I wasn't going for distance, but placement shots, but still managed to get over 375 distance by just S'ing out a beat flash as gently as possible.
My flattest throw probably ended up about 350 and right down the middle..

So my consistency is getting there and hopefully with practicing this technique i will naturally be adding distance..

Major things i changed:
1. lightened up my run up and throw
2. stayed as relaxed as possible.
3. Changed my grip by holding a disc and pulling it out of my hand.. where it made the best audible snap i used that grip.. Seemed to work because i was getting ridiculous distance with little effort whatsoever.
4. stayed mentally Positive and focused.. I had confidence in my putting so it took lots of stress off my drives and upshots..

I will have another snapshot of my throw coming up by the endof the week and hopefully i'll be able to host some Video of a hole or2 from the rutgers tournament on sunday.
