Heres a cool website I found:

Cool Website (http://hem.bredband.net/area46/engelska/skola/turn.html)

It has instructional articles on everything and I especially liked the page dedicated to 360 drives! It has videos of Voigt and Sandstrom crushing 170 some meter 360s!

Peter Henriksson, who frequents these message boards, is the webmaster for Area 46. (SwePeter). Maybe he can chime in. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Sure, Jeannie, I'm always happy to chime in... ;)

Glad you all seem to like area46 :) Unfortunately I haven't had the time to add more content to the english part of the site for quite a while. But that will also grow. Especially after I transfer to a larger web hotel account later on this spring. http://area46.tip.nu will always take you to the swedish start page (with a link to the english content) no matter what the new address/location will be.

As I wrote in the 360 instructional, you do lose some accuracy, this technique is mainly used for pure distance. But there are of course exceptions to this. I use it myself on open holes where D is more important than pinpoint accuracy, and I know of quite a few other players that uses 360s in golf as well. Me, I estimate that I can gain up to around 30-40 meters as best, when throwing a 360 compared to a regular run up.

Do you have any more videos of people driving? If so, you should put them on your site! :DGreat site, by the way!

Thanks. There will be more after I switch to a web hotel with more storing space. Right now I'm very close to my current limit of 50Mb total. Have you checked out Blake T's site? There's a lot of video footage there. Great resource with lot of instructionals: http://www.discgolfreview.com/resources/throwanalysis.shtml

Sweet site with some cool links.

No WONDER them friggin Swedes throw so far: they've got websites in Swedish showing stuff like 360 tutorials.

That's unforgivable!

I say we need to invade Sweden immediately, on suspicion of WMD's (Weapons of Mass Distance) :)

turnarounds are great for rollers when theres a tree in front of you, just turn about 120 degrees and you will throw to left or right of tree depending on righty or lefty. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I don't know if y'all have seen this yet . . . but are you familiar with one of Windows XP's default desktop wallapers called "Bliss" with the big green hills and blue sky? Well, at this website you are talking about (Area 46), under the "downloads" section, they have the same Bliss wallaper but with a Mach 5 basket brushed in. Simply breathtaking and a must see!! (You can find it directly here http://hem.bredband.net/area46/area46%20nedladdning/backgrounds/BlissPoleHole1024.jpg)

Well done SwePeter!!!
