As you may have noticed from the new link in the nav bar, the message board now has a chat room. If you click on the link, you should be logged into the chat room, which runs as an applet in your browser. That means that your browser must have Java support. Most come that way, so it shouldn't be a problem.

To learn how to use the chat room, enter it and then click on the Help button near the top. Some interesting features:

- If you right-click in the chat room, a menu with some options will appear.
- If you right-click in the area where you enter text, menus with smileys and sound effects will be available.
- You can create subrooms (and optionally protect them with passwords) using the "/create" command.
- You can send and receive private messages.
- Any URL typed in goes into a dropdown list above the chat area, where it is clickable.

Who has Admin priv in there? Wouldnt it be good to have a topic? Will /forceurl be the same as a topic? Yes it does get quite busy when only 10-15 people are active in there, is their going to be any way to moderate when making tourney info updates? Some of us irc people, prefer the irc with a java client for the computer newbs, would be able to send files and much more controlled enviorment. If i am wrong about the abilities of java chat its only a lack of understanding. Please feel free to inform me
