I ventured out for a swim today... Burlington (Cedar Rock) was set up in the shorts... still got my putting stroke... only missed about 12 very makable putts, but still shot under par from the long pads.

left my 168 red crush on hole 16 out at chapel hill, where we all decided to unload our bags. i think its 10-15ft short and 50ft left of the pin in the trees on the leftside of the fairway. if anyone goes out there tommorrow, grab it for me. if not, oh well.

Team Fish arrived at Zebulon to find the course still covered with snow.... and the tee pads on a number of holes covered in ice/snow (3 & 9 were bad).... We split into two groups and headed out for round 1..... Starting on hole 1 was John Sheffield, Steve Waters, Brian Berman, Chris Benson & Chris Dunn..... and on hole 3 was Jeff Yahn, Pete Rich, Robbie Dunn & Miles Dunn.....

I'll get to the scores in a moment, but the most eventful part of our groups round was Yahnny jumping through the creek on 18 and coming up without one of his shoes.... It was stuck way down in the mud and was filling with water quickly.... After much effort, it was able to be retrieved....

The first round scores looked like this:
John Sheffield 54 (w/ 4 birdies)
Robbie Dunn 55 (birdies on 2 & 4, bogies on 3, 9 & 16)
Pete Rich 57 (6 birdies)

SSA is figured for each individual t'ment round. Pros are not necessary. I think they only need 8-10 rated players above 800 in order to figure it out.

In this manner, individual round conditions are factored in so that rough conditions do not skew the players' ratings for that round.

I was checking out the latest DGWN and saw an ad for Disc Golfers for Cancer, it's kinda like Relay for Life, but with DG instead of running/walking.
