Nominating Committee

The PDGA is pleased to announce the formation of the Nominating Committee for the upcoming 2011 Board elections. The four members are current and "retiring" Board member Todd Andrews, former Board member Ron Convers Jr., the Disc Golf Guy Terry Miller and it's chaired by PDGA #003, Dan "Stork" Roddick, longtime Board advisor.

The Board created this Nominating Committee to seek out a slate of candidates with wide ranging experience and qualifications to potentially be elected by our current PDGA members to the newly expanded Board. The PDGA Board voted to increase the number of members to nine. They will have three year terms with three Board members being replaced each year instead of the current two-year staggered cycle. Two of the nine Board members will be appointed by the elected Board members.

The Nominating Committee would appreciate recommendations from our members for people both within and outside our sport who might be solid additions to our Board to keep us moving forward and on track to continue expanding the sport of disc golf.
