Semifinals and Finals Numbers / Required Tie Breakers

*based on registration numbers from August 8th,  subject to change due to final registration numbers

Semifinals Numbers

C MP60 10+ TIES Ties for Fourth Place must be broken immediately following Saturday AM round at Waterworks. 4 1:30 p.m.

Semifinals and Finals Criteria

Semifinals Criteria

  •  All divisions with a minimum of 16 participants will have a cut to the semis with the top competitors playing in a semi-final.
  • Depending on the field size the cut may range from 25 to 40 percent of the field.
  • Divisions with less than 16 participants will not participate in the semi-finals round.

Finals Criteria

  • All divisions with a minimum of 8 participants will advance only 4 competitors to the Finals. Ties for the 4 spots must be broken by sudden-death playoff immediately following the division’s last round of play prior to the Finals.
  • All divisions with 4 to 7 participants will advance only 2 competitors to the Finals. Ties for the 2 spots must be broken by sudden-death playoff immediately following the division’s last round of play prior to the Finals.

Divisions with Less than 4 Participants

  • All divisions with less than 4 participants will not compete in Semi-Finals or Finals. Ties for First Place must be broken by sudden-death playoff immediately following the divisions last round of regular competition

1 12 3 296' Playing the short pin position (296 feet). Double Mando: Missed mando retees adding one penalty throw. On walking path/curb or beyond is OB.
2 13 3 365' Beyond fence is OB.
3 14 3 485' Top of wall/stairs and beyond is OB.
4 17 4 627' Mando Left: The Mando is the LEFT side of the tree. Missed mando proceeds to drop zone adding one penalty throw. Top of wall/stairs and beyond is OB.
5 18 3 312' Road/curb/top of wall/drain and beyond is OB.
6 1 3 508' Parking lot and beyond is OB. The area painted around the fallen tree is played as a Relief Area. Play it just as you would an OB area, but without a penalty throw.
7 7 3 263' Parking lot and beyond is OB.
8 9 3 283' On walking path/curb and beyond is OB.
9 10 3 354' On parking lot/road and beyond is OB.
