The Des Moines Disc
Golf Club and the Professional Disc Golf Association
(PDGA)
are
pleased
to host the
2004 PDGA Disc Golf World Championships. This exciting
event is made possible through the cooperation of
the Park and Recreation Departments of Des Moines,
Ames,
Newton, and Indianola; the Des Moines Park Foundation;
the Iowa Department of Natural Resources; the Army
Corps
of Engineers;
and the Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau.
A field of nearly 1,000 disc golfers aged 10 to 75
will compete for world champion status in numerous
divisions
during the week of August 8th through the 14th, 2004.
Activities additional to championship play will make
this a wonderful spectacle for the many competitors
and fans that will travel to Des Moines from nearly
every
state and from many foreign countries.
Your involvement and sponsorship
will help assure that this event is a huge success
while offering

services to this dynamic group of competitors and
spectators.
Through the cooperation of the Des Moines
Park Foundation your sponsorship of cash, products,
or services in-kind can be accepted through the Foundation
providing a charitable contribution for your tax purposes.
