As the sun rose this morning in North Augusta, South Carolina, nearly 400 college students awoke from dreams of being crowned a National Champion. Today marked the start of the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championship, the fastest growing event in disc golf. Along with pioneering different team formats of play and the only type of complex schedule that could accommodate this large field, Tournament Founder Pete May and Tournament Director Alan Kane have created the type of atmosphere expected at a large gathering of college students; a giant party.

When DGPtv began their Live Internet broadcasting operations in 2009, "Broadcasting the Best in Disc Golf" was adopted as the network's tagline. Now, as disc golf's only Live Internet broadcaster beginning it's fifth season, this moniker holds true now more than ever.

With three National Championships, a World Championship and the PDGA National Tour crowning event on the 2014 broadcast schedule, DGPtv continues to cover disc golf's most important events.

The disc golf community has been talking about this for years and the day is finally here. Beginning Monday, May 20, disc golf’s television premier will happen with the launch of Beach Sports Network. The 2013 premier is also the opening disc golf event on BSN: The Memorial Championships presented by Discraft

The Beach Sports Network announced today a partnership with the Professional Disc Golf Association that will increase their television presence to 20 shows, as well as expand their future distribution to a dedicated online portal that will stream live events during the year and provide their dedicated community of fans video-on-demand access to past shows.
