Disc golf will be included in this year’s National Senior Games to be held in Cleveland, OH. While disc golf has been included in a number of state level events, this is the first inclusion for our sport in a major national event.
Competition begins on July 19 and runs through August 1. The specific dates of the disc golf competition will be July 20-21. The format will include four rounds over two days played on two courses.
This year Dave Thomas, once again, was the Tournament Director for Disc Golf at the New York State Senior Games held Friday, June 8th at the beautiful disc golf course on the campus of Tompkins-Cortland Community College. The competition included one round of singles followed by one round of alternate shot doubles. This event would not have been possible without the VERY generous donations of merchandise from Harold Duvall and David Shope of Innova Disc Golf!!! This was their third year of contributing to this event!
