This includes the PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship, the PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championship, the PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships, the PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships, and the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships. The 2025 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships has already been awarded as part of a two-year commitment to the host.

Proposals to host a 2020 PDGA Major will be accepted from July 2 through November 1, 2018. This includes the PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship, the PDGA Tim Selinske US Masters Championship, the PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships, the PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships, and the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships.
The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) is pleased to announce that beginning in 2017, a new and separate Disc Golf World Championship event will be contested for all age-protected divisions. The 2017 PDGA Professional Masters Disc Golf World Championships will be held in addition to the existing PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships, which will be limited to qualified Open Professional Men and Open Professional Women players. The tournaments will continue to be sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association as PDGA Major events.
The Professional Disc Golf Association is pleased to announce the release of the Bid Guidelines for PDGA Major Events for events in the years 2013, 2014, and 2015. The PDGA has created these bid guideline packages to assist prospective communities in presenting their case for hosting one of disc golf’s showcase events and lays out the guidelines on how to prepare a bid to host a PDGA Major.
