The annual PDGA awards banquet and Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place during the 2009 PDGA Pro/Am Disc Golf World Championships in Kansas City Missouri.

World Champion Video Finale

The epic finish of disc golf's 2009 PDGA World Championships is captured here in a photo montage and narration. Josh Anthon and Avery Jenkins participated in just the second playoff in disc golf world championship history. Both played incredibly all week, but it was Avery Jenkins winning the sudden death playoff on the fifth hole to complete the Jenkins' family sweep of the Open Division. Valarie won the Women's Open Division earlier to capture her third consecutive World Championship Crown.
