A new and upgraded Disc Golf Network platform was announced on Tuesday with the release of the 2024 DGN media plan.

At the forefront of DGN's recent migration to Insys Video Technologies as the network's service provider and an enhanced partnership with Amazon Web Services is the chance for disc golf fans to choose from multiple subscription plans as well as continue their benefits as an active PDGA member. DGN will now offer three plans: DGN Basic, DGN Standard and DGN Pro.

There are plenty of chances to see your favorite professional disc golfers in person in 2024!

Here is ticket information for several tournaments this season:

PDGA Major events are the premier competitions for disc golf each year, featuring the world’s best disc golfers competing for Major titles in multiple skill, age, and gender-based divisions. These PDGA marquee events offer any city or town the chance to host an international sporting event in their community, to draw interest and attention to the location, and to generate a significant economic impact for local businesses.

Hosting a PDGA Major is a challenging task, and interest was shown from several involved local organizing committees (LOC), meaning selecting these events was difficult, as so many excellent bid packages were submitted.

The best of the best — and the strongest field in the history of the prestigious tournament — has landed in Nokia, Finland for the 2023 European Open presented by Discmania. Many of the top players from the United States traveled to Norway to join the Euro Tour for the PCS Open last week and will now have a chance at a PDGA Major title. The European Open was established in 2006 and has become the premier professional disc golf event in Europe.

Proposals to host a 2025 PDGA Major will be accepted from July 3 through November 1, 2023.

This includes the PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship, the PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championship, the PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships, the PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships, and the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships. The 2025 PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships has already been awarded as part of a two-year commitment to the host.

Through 36 holes at the 2023 United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship, Ryan Mulder has done everything right to put himself in the driver’s seat to take down a PDGA Major title.

With back-to-back clean scorecards, Mulder followed up Friday’s blistering opening round with another bogey-free day to extend his lead to five strokes heading into Championship Sunday.

The 2023 United States Amateur Disc Golf Championships started off hot as the top amateurs in the country played their first round on the Toboggan Disc Golf Course in Milford, Michigan. After just one round, two players have already beaten last year’s hot round to get themselves to the top of the leaderboard at the end of day 1.

Twenty-three years ago, Tim Selinske created the U.S. Masters Championships to celebrate sportsmanship and community.

On Sunday in Eugene, Oregon, those two elements were on display.

Championship Sunday of the 2023 PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championships presented by Innova featured a little bit of everything — playoff wins, comeback wins, come-from-behind wins and blowout wins. But after those wins, and even the losses, the community aspect was on full display in a record gathering of 422 players.

There was plenty to celebrate.

There are a several battles that will come down to the wire at the 2023 PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championships presented by Innova.

The cut has been made in Eugene, Oregon and seven of the 21 divisions are separated by less than three strokes with 18 holes to go in Eugene, Oregon.

In MP40, Philo Brathwaite made a moving day charge with a course-record round at Circle Bar Golf Club to take a two-stroke lead in Championship Sunday. Brathwaite's 12-under round — rated 1060 — propelled him to the top of the leaderboard, two strokes clear of Matthew Blakely, who kept his spot on the lead card with a 9-under round on Saturday.

There are eight new leaders heading after round two of the 2023 PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championships presented by Innova.

No one told them that Saturday was moving day at the PDGA Major.

New Leaders

Dutch Napier leads a brand-new MP40 lead card heading into Saturday's third round after finishing with the second-hottest rounds of the day at Dexter Park. The defending FP40 champion, Ohn Scoggins, blistered the woods of Dexter to build a seven-stroke lead with two rounds to go.

With a record field of 420 players across 21 divisions, the 2023 PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championships presented by Innova got off to a blistering start in Eugene, Oregon.

The pace for the four-round PDGA Major was set early and, if the opening day on Thursday was any indication, the final three rounds will be action packed.

Eleven of the 21 division are separated by less than three strokes, including one-stroke leads for Allen Hermosillo (MP40), Jennifer Allen (FP40), JohnE McCray (MP50) and Jeffrey Wright (MA50).

It's time for a PDGA Major in the Pacific Northwest.

A record field of players have gathered in Eugene, Oregon for the 2023 PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championships presented by Innova, marking the first PDGA Major held in Oregon since the 2014 Professional World Championships.

The 422-player Major features strong MP40 and FP40 fields and players with PDGA numbers in the double digits — all competing in a beautiful PNW setting.

It was a day of wild weather at the 2023 College Disc Golf National Championships in North Carolina.

The finish is going to be just as wild.

On a day where the second Division I Singles national champion was crowned, the top divisions are set up for a down-to-the-wire finale at North Cove Leisure & Disc Golf Club.

It started in the morning, both the rain and the pressure-packed penultimate day of the nati.

Houghton's men's team had the first tee time on Wednesday morning. Oklahoma State's women's team of Masey Brannon and Markayla Clayton had a 40-foot putt on their first hole. Missouri's Noah Free had the pressure of a title defense.

Everything worked out well for the early leaders on opening day of the 2023 College Disc Golf National Championship.

Houghton's early tee time ended by setting a blistering pace in the Men's Division I team event with a 16-under opening round, a start that would not be matched the rest of the day in the 64-team field.

Gannon Buhr stood on the 18th tee box in 2015 after begging his mother to drive him to Winthrop to see the United States Disc Golf Championship

He stood on the 18th green on Sunday as the youngest USDGC winner in history and fully established that the future of the sport has arrived.

In a thrilling, dominant and absolutely clutch final round, Buhr — at 17 years old with homework to do — took down his first PDGA Pro Major and added yet another chapter to the illustrious history in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

At a tournament full of history, no matter how Championship Sunday concludes at the 24th running of the United States Disc Golf Championship, there will be a new chapter added.

Four players, all with their own potential to make history, enter the final round at the Winthrop Arena looking to leave their mark and cement, or further solidify, their legacy.

Jake Monn has the game to match his towering size.

Just a heads up: He’s 17 years old.

Monn turned heads on Friday in a day of big moves at the Winthrop Arena and is now a co-leader in his first trip to the United States Disc Golf Championship in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

“It feels really good,” Monn told Terry Miller of the Disc Golf Network after posting a 9-under round with a huge contingent of family and teammates in tow.

From a distance, Niklas Anttila has watched the best of the best compete year-in and year-out at the United States Disc Golf Championship.

A rising — and young — star in Finland, Anttila, 20, arrived at the Winthrop Arena for the first time earlier this week and experienced the iconic, history-filled track for the first time.

“I’ve been watching this tournament for a while — six or seven years,” Antilla said. “Earlier this week, I was seeing all the holes that I’ve been watching for a while.

“It felt kind of unreal to be here to compete.”
