And we're off!

It's a beautiful day today, sunny and warm already. The Juniors have just teed off at Widener Park and I have to agree with what one Dad said. "There's not a more fun division to watch."

Rise and shine!

Rise and shine, everybody! Let's get those first drives out of the way and play some disc golf! Good luck and have fun!

Fifteen year old Economos leads long distance competition

Fifteen year old Nick Economos from MA was leading the long distance competition late this afternoon. Nick threw a 507 ft bomb despite a swirling headwind that has been bothering most throwers today.

Over at the mini 18, there were a bunch of people tied at 52.

Doubles - 2011 Am Worlds

Day 1 action from Rochester, NY

Registration continues until 4pm

Over 60% of the competitors have checked-in so far as registration continues upstairs in the Radisson. Greeting golfers today are Mom Wallis from Illinois and PDGA Memberships Manager Sara Nicholson. After a bit of a rush at 10, things have died down, but now that the rain has started to fall, more golfers are coming in from the Field Events.

AM Worlds week starts today!

Things are coming together nicely for a great week of disc golf. Are you ready?!
