We’re one day into the Green Mountain Championships here at Smuggler’s Notch and it’s fair to say that this place has it all. On top of the two amazing disc golf courses involved, there’s also the fact that the event takes place at a one-stop-shop style resort. Truly a village in its own right, there isn’t much reason to leave the property once you arrive. And why would you want to?
Smuggler’s Notch is nestled into the mountain town of Cambridge, Vermont and is home to two amazing disc golf courses designed by Tournament Director Jeff Spring; Brewster Ridge and Fox Run. Both courses start in the same area, but they couldn’t be more difficult overall.
It's been a couple of weeks since the last putt hit the chains at the 2015 Green Mountain Championships, but it's never too late to give a quick rundown of a great event. The Green Mountain Championships has continued its rapid growth to one of the largest events in our sport today. In 2014, the GMC held its first A-Tier and it has now nearly doubled in size to over 275 players. Situated in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains, Smugglers’ Notch Resort hosts this event and has continued to grow its Fall Festival around the disc golf tournament.
