Americans Move Up On Moving Day

Since its inception in 2006, the European Open - a PDGA Major event - has become a highlight of the tour season for the leading Europeans and the world's top players.

In 2002 a decision was made to add Jacksonville as a stop on the Florida Tour. This decision that set in motion a chain of events which inspired future Tournament Directors in Jacksonville. 

The National Collegiate Disc Golf Union (NCDGU) is pleased to announce that the 3rd annual National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships will be held on April 17-19, 2009 at the Hippodrome Disc Golf Course in North Augusta, SC.

The World Championships will be held this year in Kansas City on July 27th to August 1st. This will only be the fourth time in history that the Pro and Am Worlds have been combined and there is a good chance we will see the first disc golf tournament with 1000 players. We hope that you can join us in Kansas City and this article will tell what you need to do to become a part of the event.

One of the longest running events in the DGA/PDGA history is the Bowling Green Open, starting in April of 1978 and continuing each year in what has become a favorite destination for disc golf players each spring.
