Disc Golf Live video magazine Episode 41 pt 1: USDGC round 1

This episode kicks off with action from the first round of the 2010 USDGC, as the history and future of the event are discussed and players tackle the starting hole. In part 2, we visit a re-purposed ball golf course in Florida called Pine Oaks as Billy Crump and Nate Doss make the call in a Clash doubles event. We head back to Winthrop Gold for second round action at the USDGC, as players negotiate the watery fifth and sixth holes. To round things out, we head up to Massachusetts as Steve Dodge brings us up to speed on the action at last year's Vibram Open. We even squeezed in Pete May as the credits roll, dispatching player after player in his annual display of table tennis dominance.

2011 US Amateur National Disc Golf Championship online series pt 3

This is the last in a three-part series on the 2011 USADGC made possible by the PDGA. This time around, we've got action from the final first round as we follow the top amateurs in the country around this uber-challenging course. The leader to start the round is Ben Callaway, looking for a wire-to-wire victory, but he's chased by several others, including rising star Ben Askren, a player of Olympian talent with a wicked arsenal of throws.

2011 US Amateur National Disc Golf Championship online series pt 1

This is the first in a three-part series on the 2011 USADGC made possible by the PDGA. In this first part, we'll take a look at some action from past years at Am Nats, from the archives of Disc Golf Live video magazine. Highlights include footage of on course action as well as off course antics such as Speed Golf and Lizard Games, all on the famous and uber-tough Toboggan course at Kensington Metropark in Milford, MI. The action heats up later this week and we'll follow this up with stories on early round and final round play when the Champion is crowned on Sunday, June 12th.

With a recent surge in broadcast outlets brought about through an online file sharing project, the disc golf community celebrates the 100th broadcast station to carry Disc Golf Live video magazine, a PDGA-supported television program distributed for free for broadcast on public acces

Disc Golf Live episode 53 pt 1: Men's Masters Division @ 2012 Worlds & Carly's Playground

Our coverage includes footage from rain-soaked Renaissance Park as well as the Final Nine of the 2012 PDGA Worlds. Scenic Traverse City, MI, is the setting for the story of a disc golf course created from broken hearts. Coverage of the End of the Trail Classic from Visalia, CA, and long-time contributor Billy Crump of ClashDVD provided footage of the inaugural PDGA Championship from the International Disc Golf Center in Appling, GA.

Disc Golf Live #52: 2012 Worlds Open Women

Titled "Ladies Day Out," Disc Golf Live episode 52 features women disc golfers from end to end, including notables such as Val Jenkins, Catrina Allen, Sarah Hokom, Paige Pierce, and Sue Stephens.

Disc Golf Live Episode 51 pt 2: Charlotte's Old Men + Tali Open

This episode concludes with action among the professional grandmaster men at last summer's PDGA World Championships in Charlotte, NC. That's a group of players 50 years of age and older. There's also a taste of the action from the 2012 Tali Open in Helsinki, Finland. Tune into part 1 of the episode for coverage of the sr grandmaster division. That's guys over sixty, for those who don't speak PDGA. Leading the charge at Sugaw Creek in Sr. Grands is Dr. Rick Voakes, challenged throughout by Alan Beaver, Randy Beers, and Glenn Henry. Former World Champions are all over the place among the grandmaster division and we see several before following the lead foursome of Joe Mela, Kenny Lee, Jay Gobrecht, and Gregg Hosfeld around the Scrapyard at Idlewild. Our early week coverage of both divisions is rounded out by final nine footage.
