Opening day at The Memorial Championships proved to be nothing short of amazing. Before the day starts off I talk to Aaron Brooker who is the man behind Fantasy Disc Golf and I follow up his interview with your event leader, David Feldberg. Dave shot a 44 which beats the old course record by 2 strokes and will likely be rated around 1114. Wow!

Nikko Locastro has a new major sponsor and it's Innova Champion Discs. Just two days after he won the PDGA Supertour in Vegas he's arrived in the Phoenix area and ready for battle. While we get his scoop we see a few shots from the PDGA Clinic which took place on Tuesday.

David Wiggins Jr is doing well at this year's version of the USDGC. We briefly talk about the format and how things are different this year from previous years. A smattering of great shots are shown which all were captured while I was out on the course competing.

Kenny Glassman is your 2011 Am World Champion and during the first round of the USDGC he plays with Ken Climo. View a few of the great shots caught on tape and witness the agony of the red flag upon any OB shot. With the first round lasting nearly 6 hours, we'll see if this event is more physical or mental.

I showed up just in time to watch the 3rd round of the 2011 PDGA Championships get underway. I capture some great (and not so great) shots and afterward I review parts of the round with the co-leader, Ricky Wysocki. He's a young gun but certainly worthy of his current placement. Sarah Hokom has worked hard this year and now completed the "turkey" with three straight PDGA National Tour Wins in a row, netting her single biggest win to date in the 2011 Vibram Open. The pie contest finds its winner and we see the traditional victory jump into the pond by both Nate Doss and Sarah.

After a long day of commentating for our live broadcast I picked up my camera and got involved with the Vibram Experience. Funny to say it but disc golf is just one component to the entire Vibram Open weekend. Vibram Team Member, Dana Vicich is pulled out from behind our camera to being in front of it. We also show some footage from a few of the side games people can play.

Still in a state of euphoria I manage to grab your 2011 Pro Men's and Pro Women's Champions, Nate Doss & Paige Pierce. This quick recap happens just minutes after the Worlds Awards Ceremony. Both players are clearly skillful but even better than that, great ambassadors of the game.

Friday is the opening day for the 29th Annual Kansas City Wide Open. This event is full of history, touts some of the best courses you'll see on tour and is packing plenty of heat this year. Tournament director and all around disc golf ambassador, Jack Lowe gives us some insight as to why Kansas City is such a great place to live and play disc golf. Jack and the club have been putting on great events for many years and this is a must hit for many top players.

Wisconsin's favorite professional disc golfer, Barry Schultz PDGA 6840 takes yet another title in Wisconsin before he moves.
