The 2011 Asia Open International Disc Golf Event took place on February 19-20 in Taipei, Taiwan at the very challenging Hsintian Riverside Disc Golf Course. The Tournament hosted 64 Professional Players from all over the World from the US, Australia, Finland, Korea, Thailand, China and Japan.

2009 World Champion, Avery Jenkins, autographs 200+ rookie cards for Topps Allen & Ginter Sportscard Series.

Disc Golf and 2009 PDGA World Champion, Avery Jenkins, are featured among the 2010 Topps tribute series of the historic Allen & Ginter Sportscard.

In 1875, Allen & Ginter produced the first cards, commonly referred to as “baseball cards”, featuring hand painted portraits of elite sports players.

After the first round Avery was trailing the world's top ranked disc golfer David Feldberg by two. Dave broke the existing course record by four strokes only to have Avery shatter his course record a day later by three with a blistering 1085 rated 51. Avery's four stroke lead would be difficult to overcome and after Dave's five on hole eight, the result was all but determined. When asked about his lack of aggressive play on the back nine holes Dave explained that Maple Hill could bite you and he saw a greater opportunity to lose second than gain first.
