Team USA maintained their hold on disc golf’s equivalent of the Ryder Cup this afternoon when they defeated a valiant Team Europe with the final scores being 29.5 to 22.5 points at the Presidents Cup In Nokia, Finland. Captained by former PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Champion Eric McCabe #11674, the American superstars took control early by dominating the best score opening half of the competition.

The PDGA Tour’s mid-summer Major event Scandinavian saga continues this week with the World’s top Pros flying their games across the northern lights and into the Disc Golf hotbed of Nokia, Finland. Here, 144 players representing a tournament record 15 countries, including 12 Euro nations, the fearsome and favored Americans, and faraway Australia and New Zealand, will vie for the titles at the prestigious European Open.
