Have you ever dreamed about turning your passion for disc golf into a career?
The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) is pleased to announce full time employment opportunities with the organization.
The PDGA seeks a highly organized and customer service oriented individual to serve as Events Manager. The successful candidate will be a strong team player whose excellent organizational, planning and project management skills will ensure the ongoing advancement, development, and success of PDGA branded events.
The hiring of a new Events Manager was necessitated by the resignation of Alan Kane, who will be leaving the PDGA in early November to accept a similar position with another company. The good news is that Alan will continue to work with the PDGA as director of our collegiate disc golf program. We thank Alan for his past service to the association as Events Manager, and we ask our members to join with the board and staff in wishing him the best of luck at his new job.
The PDGA is also accepting applications from service oriented individuals for the position of Superintendent of the International Disc Golf Center, in the event that position should become available as a result of internal staff restructuring. The successful candidate should be a self-motivated team player whose excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills will ensure the successful management and maintenance of the events, courses and other amenities at the International Disc Golf Center.
Employment for these positions will require relocation to the Columbia County Georgia area, just north of Augusta. For a detailed job description, list of desired qualifications, and information on submitting your application for these positions, visit the following links.
The deadline for the submission of applicant documents is November 25, 2012 and the projected start date is February 4, 2013.
We wish you the best of luck should you decide to apply for one of these positions.
