2009 PDGA NT Touring Player Clinics

2009 PDGA NT Touring Player Clinics

Tuesday, June 2, 2009 - 12:55

The PDGA National Tour has already reached the halfway point this disc golf season. These National Tour stops are proving to be a great place to see our sports best players up close and in action.

There is much more going on at these events than just the hot competition. Each National Tour also features two great PDGA programs in the NT Clinic Series and the Spectator Raffle Ticket Program.

The NT Clinic Series is hosted by touring professional, Jay Reading and his staff of rotating world class instructors that have included the likes of World Champions Ken Climo, Nate Doss, Barry Schultz and Dave Feldberg. Prior to each NT tour stop, the NT Clinic Series allows the community, tournament players and recreational disc golfers to get tips, techniques and autographs from the sports top players. The clinics last two hours and include a hands-on portion that will allow the instructors to critique and personally help you with technique. The best thing is that these clinics are free to the public thanks to the support of the PDGA. Please check out the hosting tournaments website and the PDGA tournament forum for more details on upcoming clinics in your area.

Another great National Tour Program is the Spectator Raffle presented by the PDGA and Innova Champion Discs. Spectators are eligible to win a portable basket, disc golf bag with discs as well as some of the latest designs in golf discs at each National Tour stop. Spectator raffle tickets are available at tournament courses and sponsors prior to the tournament and at tournament central during the event. This raffle is free for all non-tournament playing spectators attending that National Tour stops final round gallery. Bring out your friends, family and camera for an inexpensive day at the park featuring the best disc golf competition in the sport today.
