2014 National Tour Elite Series – “The Drive for the Championship”
The 2014 National Tour Elite Series will feature the top players in the Men’s and Women’s Open divisions as they compete in the sixth annual Drive for the Championship. The point series will consist of the first seven National Tour Elite Series events plus the series finale, the Rochester Flying Disc Open. Players will accumulate points throughout the season as they compete for trophies, cash bonuses, and the title of 2014 PDGA National Tour Series Champion.
The 2014 PDGA National Tour will consist of eight events held across the country starting with the Memorial Championship in Scottsdale, Arizona on February 26 - March 1 and ending with the Rochester Flying Disc Open in Rochester, New York on September 5-7. Points will be awarded based on a competitor’s order of finish in an individual event per the table below.

Series points from a player’s top five National Tour finishes from the first seven events plus the points from the Rochester Flying Disc Open will determine the 2014 PDGA Tour Series Champion.
Points are split across tied places. With the exception of the Men’s and Women’s Series Champions, the bonuses for all ties will be divided evenly.
In the case of a tie for the Series Champion the following tie-breakers will be utilized:
- Sum of points at all National Tour events.
- Head-to-head record in all National Tour events.
- Head-to-head record at the Rochester Flying Disc Open.
- Sudden death playoff
