The 2010 PDGA National Tour will tee off on  Wednesday March 3 in Fountain Hills, Arizona with the Memorial Championship. Tournament directors Dan and Sue Ginnelly along with the Arizona Disc Golf Club will host over 350 players from around the world for what has become one of the rites of spring in the disc golf world.

As the presenting sponsor, Discraft has committed to working closer than ever with the hosts to help take the event to another level in terms of professionalism and promotion. Changes for 2010 include a full day of ancillary events for spectators and competitors on the day preceding the tournament at scenic Fountain Hills. The Memorial Disc Golf Experience will kick off at noon, Tuesday March 2,  and will feature many activities including a test drive of some of Discraft’s newest discs, putting, long drive, ace run, mini disc golf and the PDGA NT touring players clinic, followed by a free concert at 6:00pm. Round one of the competition will begin for the professional divisions on Wednesday morning March 3rd at Fountain Hills. On Thursday, the National Tour pros will move to Vista Del Camino in Scottsdale for round two while the amateur divisions will play their first round of their concurrent SuperTour event at Fountain Hills. Friday’s schedule will have the pro divisions return to Fountain Hills and the Ams at Vista before they switch courses one last time for Saturday’s final rounds with the showcase final pro lead group teeing off at 1:00pm at Vista Del Camino.
