The PDGA is requesting candidates for the annual Bob West Memorial Award for Sportsmanship, where a sportsman or sportswoman is defined as someone who exemplifies sportsmanship both on and off the disc golf course, observes the rules of play, and wins or loses with grace."
Founded in 2006, The Disc Golf Presidents Cup is one of the newest international disc golf events. The idea for the Presidents Cup was to showcase the sport of disc golf at its highest professional level by staging international matches between the top American and European Disc Golfers.

The Professional Disc Golf Association launched their 2010 National Tour with great fanfare on March 3-6 with The Memorial Championship presented by Discraft. Over 370 disc golfers from 33 states and four countries traveled to the desert oases of Fountain Hills and Scottsdale, Arizona to compete and celebrate their favorite sport.
