Mine blows away my gateway bag on the same level. I have had two gateway bags that ripped at the seems and the bag loops and zippers. Stated it was a manufacture defect and I was stuck with those F'd up bags !!!!!
Never , Ever again !!!!!Size , Performace , Quality , Guarantee , made in USA. Revolution Bags have ALWAYS , ALWAYS , come through when I needed them. To me , they are worth the couple extra bucks for Durability , Customer Support , Quality and Guarantee !!!!!!! AND...................... I have never gotten Punked by Revolution !!!!!! But , if you have to support your sponsor , do what you have to do and say what you have to say...................... WORD !!!!!

I have only had 4 bags. One lightning that tore in like three months, a revolution club that ripped out through the bottom in 6 months and then a Gateway tour that lasted three years, and now a Backback bag that I have had for 1.5 years.

If you are getting the PDGA bag. dtworld has a good package deal with a couple of Star/ESP discs and a hat.

Re: the PDGA bag: Are the 2 drink holders still on the same side? Seems like this may cause some lack of balance issues... I agonized over all these choices a few months ago...and with my Black and Grey Carolina bag I made a great choice. I believe I would have been very happy with a Gateway Backpack or Tourbag...but for me it came down to what was available and in what colors. Have you checked online or called to see what is actually available? |

Anybody saying that the Innova bags are shoddy workmanship needs to take better care of their bags... I've kicked my bag on occasion playing dubs, I regularly YANK my bag from the ground (I like to kind of fling it around my back so it floats over my shoulder, I know, I'm odd) and I use it for on average about 500 rounds a year...
I've had my current tour bag for a year and a half now almost, I use it in all kinds of weather (rain, snow all winter, mud, whatever) and it is in great shape, not a tear to be seen. Mind you I'd love to have a rev bag, but this one is awesome. I can't wait to see their new bag (that they've been hyping but I haven't seen released yet, was supposed to be out in summer I THOUGHT). -Chris. |

![]() One thing about my Gateway Tour Bag is they have metal D rings that really Squeak when you attach your Carabineers to them. Only bag I own to ever do this. And the metal D rings get hot in the sun. They need to make a better adjustment on their attachment clips for all golfers with Quad Shocks. I know Innova did !!!!!!!They have a New bag with WAY better attachment clips for Quad Shocks now. I know because I have one !!!!!!! Maybe Gateway's Backpack bag is the only way to go....... if your into Gateway. But Revolution Bags are the way to go !!!!!!! I have these and they have been bullet proof for years ............ http://www.comportunity.com/home.php http://www.comportunity.com/product....age=1&featured Has a great Balance to it !!!!! http://www.comportunity.com/product....age=1&featured Really Sweet !!!!!! And BY FAR..................THE Absolute BEST weekend bag ............... http://www.discgolfer.com/mini.html |

I hate the revolution bags... smaller water bottles fall right through the cheap-#$*&$! bottoms of their bottle holders.. its really frustrating at times. Plus I like to carry random things in the cupholders, maybe a bag of sunflower seeds, or a bag tag or something, y'know?
They're almost pointless with those cheapo bottoms. -Chris. |

Personally, I think all drink holders are poorly placed to balance the bag. Chances are a 32 oz drink is the heaviest single thing in your bag. Does it make any sense to put the heaviest thing out to the furthest edge of the bag with the least inherent support? If I have a 32oz bottle I put it in the pocket, close to the center. Usually though I just carry several 20oz bottles so I can balance them better. |

I have a buddy that used some zip-ties on the water bottle holders on the Texas Team back and just zip-tied a mini to the bottom of both water holders.
Still allows for the gunk to leave through the bottom of the bag, but also holds his drinks in w/o having to use a coozie, towel or anything else. It has been attached that way now for a few months w/o problems. Revolution still makes the best bag I have purchased and I have had one from each major company. |

I also dislike the smaller rounded opening for the main disc compartment... I prefer that to be a little larger as well. |

I'm guessing the smaller main-compartment opening lends overall strength to the structure as a whole. In the long run this likely helps keep the outer drink/bottle holders from sagging, etc... Buying a new bag is a chore...

Revolution bags are built to last twice as long as Innova. If you can make your Innova bag last 3 years congrats, but a Revolution would have lasted you 6-7 with the same wear pattern. Revolution pays more money on higher quality materials, so they charge more. Don't get me wrong, not everyone needs to spend the extra money on a Revolution. Just like every other sporting hobby, you can always spend more to get higher quality equipment. With Revolution you are getting more, period.

All good points. To each his own in the end... personally I don't care if a bag lasts me three years or six years as long as it lasts me until I feel like getting a new one out of sheer spontaneity.
My bag has lasted me as long as I've played thus far, but Gateway has those nifty backpack bags... and Innova is coming out with a new bag soon... And I'd imagine long before 6-7 years is up someone else is going to come out with something even sweeter. |

I know I love my Gateway Tour Bag. It's comfotable, has metal D-rings that last forever, and can hold way more extra gear than any other bag out there. I would say they last me on average at least 3 years if not more.

My golf bag was run over and now I need a new one. I was very happy with my Innova deluxe bag. Sure, I had to do a repair job on one of the strap attachments, it only had one drink holder and it had no umbrella holder, but it was roomy and cheap! With that said, everyone seems to love the Revo Carolina bag. However, most of the people I know who have them have the older wooden frame which seems to be sturdier. Anyone have anything to say about any good larger bags, and/or the new plastic frame in the Revo bags?

Just replaced the innova tour bag with the revolution carolina. The best quality of the bag to me is the ability to attach the quad straps to different suspension points. When I used the little loops on my tour they ripped out in a week. The internal frame makes getting the disks in and out a snap while adding to the stability of the bag both sitting on the ground and on my back. Though each weighs about the same the carolina feels much lighter on my back. I also have a retrevial pole the sits much more comfortable under the bag then at the top. I do wish the carolina had a good pocket for my cell, pencils and and mini but other then that I am quite pleased.

gorilla boy bags, I compare their durability to that of revos bags (same materials) they are very functional, light and probably some of the best lookign bags. DGR discussion 1
Discussion 2 and 3 He also has a website, but it is not up and running yet. You can contact him through it or the forum. They really are great bags, and I will be posting a personal review (a couple days in the making) in a day or two.
