Default Pro Worlds Course Rating History

This chart just posted http://www.pdga.com/pdga-documents/w...rating-history
will provide guidance for those considering a bid to host Pro Worlds to better understand the course challenges expected by our top players. Shows history of course rating (SSA) values of Pro Worlds courses since the PDGA Player & Course Ratings process started with the 1998 Pro Worlds in Cincinnati.

Also includes average SSA values of courses played by the Mens Open division before the semifinals. PW2005 in Allentown holds the top spot with a 58.9 average SSA along with the highest SSA course, Nockamixon, at 67.0. PW2007 at Highbridge is second with a 58.5 average. Contrast this with the lowest SSA average of 48.7 at PW1999 in Rochester.
